This collection consists of the private diaries of Bishop Cecil Wilson from 1894-1911, during which time he was Bishop of Melanesia. Some of the material was published under the title: The wake of the Southern Cross, by Cecil Wilson.

Letters 28 August 1968 - 17 February 1969, Taroaniara, to Sir Douglas Robb, Auckland. The Auckland Institute and Museum Library holds the MSS of three dictionaries of Melanesian languages (two of which were published) compiled by Dr Fox.

The Goldsbro' collection of material relating to the family and the Melanesian Mission, 1866-1905. It includes letters from Bishop Patteson, printed reports and sermons, and newspaper cuttings.
